DOMAIN MARCEL DEISS

It's to Bergheim, a small locality in Alsace wine-growing, that is the domain Marcel Deiss.

The vineyard exists since 1744, today managed by Jean-Michel Deiss, supported by his son Mathieu, the domain exploits 27 hectares of vineyards distributed on 9 municipalities and approximately 20 km of wine-growing Coast.

This domain, put above all on a healthy farming of the Alsatian tradition (the complantation, the plowing, the piochage, the compost, the enherbement), without weeding nor artificial fertilizer.

The philosophy of the company is the complantation (art to mix vines in a region) the oldest form of vine growing known in Europe.

° Alsace white : This wine exclusively comes from vineyards of the Domain Marcel DEISS. It is produced every year from 13 Alsatian grapes, gowned and collected together, pressed and vinified with the biggest respect.

Red wine : This wine comes from the estate vineyards of Domaine Marcel Deiss. It is made mainly from ripe Pinot Noir, with the utmost respect and without intervention. These grapes express the soil and climate of Alsace

Villages wines :

Berckem : This exceptional terroir contributes to the wealth of this wine, to the intense aromas and at the level of rare complexity of this wine

Produced annually from 13 Alsatian grape varieties harvested sets. Its aging potential of 12 years.

Alsace Muscat :

This is a spring wine with a very fresh taste of lemon and pineapple. This is a complex wine, balanced, sensual. This dry Muscat will be perfect for your appetizers.
