Created by Nicolas Rolin in 1443, juste after the war, Hospice de Beaune was in first, a place home for poor people in Burgundy.
Since 1859 the town of Beaune has hosted an annual charity wine auction known as the Hospices de Beaune.
This Years was marked by the best seller ever registred since the beginning, 480 000 €, a Corton Renardes Grand cru de 2015.
Part of the funds was refunded to the victims of Paris 's bombing
